Daniel Adams: Stage 5

Screen Shot
Start from the beginning:

This transcript follows closely to the termination of the psychological evaluations of five individuals who worked at South Tech labs. All participants in the wake of Project Sacrosanct are under close evaluation by trained professionals. The purpose of releasing these transcripts is to bring to light of the Corruption Cycle to the public and to help build legislation to protect those who suffer from the Corruption Cycle. At no point will these individuals be released into the public until public awareness has been fulfilled. The transcript follows:

The subjects name is Daniel Adams. He is male and is about thirty. Daniel is not native to our country but knows our language fluently. He is at stage 5. When Stage 5 happens—minimum of 16 hours—there is now no reasoning. Any communication with the subject turns hostile as the subject is animalistic in nature. The subjects attack everything in sight. The body is shrunken around the subjects bones and food no longer keeps the subject living. Nails and hair are frail and break easily. Subjects do not bleed as they previously did. The blood that was in them previously has turned black and coagulates. It is unknown how the body still functions but it is apparent that the body is stuck in a form of stasis or immortality. Any attempts to put the subjects out of their misery have proven to be futile. Any form of injection, electrocution, strangulation or any other forms to relieve the subjects of their life have proven fruitless.

*Daniel is strapped to a chair. Two security personnel are in the room*

Dr. Stanton: Daniel. How you feeling today?

*Daniel does not move nor shift his gaze*

Dr. Stanton: I know you don’t feel better but do you feel at peace or is it all… chaos in there?

*Daniel doesn’t move nor respond*

*To security*
Dr. Stanton: Was he like this when you got him?

Security: Yes mam.

Dr. Stanton: Dod he walk or?

Security: He did.

*Dr. Stanton gets up and checks for a pulse on his right hand*

Dr. Stanton: Well he’s alive but he’s catatonic. Has he said anything?

Security: Negative.

*Dr. Stanton gets out a flashlight and shines it into Daniels eyes.*

Dr. Stanton: Zero response.

*Dr. Stanton checks his arms.

Dr. Stanton: It looks like he’s been hurting himself. That sort of looks like a symbol.

Security: What do you think it means?

Dr. Stanton: No clue. Maybe it’s another thing he’s been seeing.

Security: It’s pretty intricate almost looks like a piece of art.

Dr. Stanton: Call in the Doctor.

Security: *Through his talking piece* she needs you doc.

Doctor Beckham: On my way.

*A minute passes them Doctor Beckham enters the room.*

Doctor Beckham: What’s going on?

Dr. Stanton: He’s catatonic.

*Dr. Beckham checks Daniels pulse.*

Dr. Beckham: Were you getting a pulse before?

Dr. Stanton: Yes.

*Dr. Beckham checks for a heart beat.*

Dr. Beckham: He’s faint. Barely going along. This is really unnatural but then again, what were we expecting? He’s not dead but I don’t understand how a heart and pulse go that slow. He’s like…hibernating almost.

Dr. Stanton: Strange. Just minutes ago I got a pulse.

Dr. Beckham: Well it’s not there now. Get your pen and poke his fingers, see if he responds

*Dr. Stanton pokes the tips of his fingers. They react slightly.*

Dr. Beckham: Yup. Someone’s in there. What do you think is happening?

Dr. Stanton: Everyone reacts differently. Let’s get a medical team around him and—

*Daniel begins to convulse*

Dr. Beckham: Hold him down! We’ll get
through this.

*Daniel begins to scream loudly. It sounds animalistic and the tape recorder fades out into static.*
