Hello all. We are getting ready to head into a new generation of content hopefully starting in the new year. This content will be more meticulously crafted and follow proper and standard prose. As you can tell. My previous content up to this point followed meter or free verse. Its not going away but I feel it is time to take some time to appreciate other standards of writing instead of making up my own rules. You will also see that a lot of my poetry relies on abstraction. I write in abstraction because it is easy for me but what is best for the site and what is easy are two different things. I will continue with some abstraction but now I would like to shift a focus to certainties and concrete problems and issues verses capture the same feelings over and over. I’m sure this will benefit with all of us.
Because of this, and the likelihood of putting more emphasis on solid content I am cutting one piece of content per week leaving everyone with three total posts rather than the standard four. Hopefully the quality of my content will go up.
I also have never asked for a penny to offer content to everyone. I have always been against putting ads on my blog but as a decade has rolled around for my site its becoming relevant that this model is not sustainable. I’m going to open up a Patreon and it will launch next year along with the new generation of content. Here I will offer more posts if you want more and there will be options for Q&As, a Discord, and merchandise depending on how much you are willing to donate. The posts you get on Patreon will be exclusive for Patreons for a year, maybe two. Once that has passed, you will start to see the Patreon content rolling over to the site. Patron is a great way to support artists and if you want the site to remain in business I have to have some kind of profit. But like I said before, I would like to keep the content on the site ad free along with no paid content, if you wish to donate, you will get more but that’s only if you donate. Keep an eye out for updates so you know how to join my Patreon.
I also have new plans for new types of content. I have found myself inspired on several different subjects and you will see them to roll over next year with the new generation of content.
The transcripts are almost done. You will get one this week, we will have a break and we will then do Stage 5, all this is to build up my upcoming short story, In the Midst of Gods and Monsters. I have a lot of positive feedback on close friends and they say its one of my best ones yet. That will kick off the new generation along with a Week of Madness promoting the short story. I have never built up a short story like this before so I hope you all like it.
