Dying Young

door-image
I don’t know,
what the future holds.
Will I die young,
before I get old?
All these things,
rack in my brain.
I long for time,
it won’t sustain.

If dying young,
won’t ruin your life,
pass the buck,
or change your mind.

I got the the skills,
so naturally.
I am full of menagerie.
I see my family,
I see my friends.
But when the clock,
strikes noon,
I might be dead.

If dying young,
won’t ruin your life,
pass the buck,
or change your mind.

Pass the clock.
Pass the time.
Spin your head on a dime.
Wait forever.
It never stops.
Will I die before this ends?
I see the church.
I see the people.
Succumbing to lies,
succumbing to evil.
I wait for days,
and weeks on end.
I feel I’m already dead.

If dying young,
won’t ruin your life,
pass the buck,
or change your mind.
