Saralynn Draper: Stage 1

This transcript follows closely to the termination of the psychological evaluations of five individuals who worked at South Tech labs. All participants in the wake of Project Sacrosanct are under close evaluation by trained professionals. The purpose of releasing these transcripts is to bring to light of the Corruption Cycle to the public and to help build legislation to protect those who suffer from the Corruption Cycle. At no point will these individuals be released into the public until public awareness has been fulfilled. The transcript follows:

The subjects name is Gemma Andrews. She is female and is in her mid forties. Gemma is a foreigner on a work visa. She is at stage 2. When exposure is at a minimum of 4 hours we will see Stage 2. In stage 2 neurons, synapses, and grey matter decay even more. Because if this decay most people in stage 2 have trouble not acting on impulses. At this point most corruption is mental, physical corruption begins at stage 2 with a loss of appetite.

Dr. Stanton: Come in Gemma. How do you feel?

Gemma: Not as good as last time.

Dr. Stanton: How so?

Gemma: I’m definitely feeling the effects of the Corruption Cycle now. Although it seems not as severe as the others. Why is that?

Dr. Stanton: It appears that each person is affected differently regardless if there is the same amount of contact.

Gemma: Why? Why does it do that?

Dr. Stanton: We don’t know. We hired various types of people with different backgrounds and family history. For some, they are similar, in others it is different. I wish I had an answer but we are really early into this. It will take some time to figure out what the factors are.

Gemma: So I won’t be feeling any better any better soon…

Dr. Stanton: Unfortunately not.

*Gemma sighs*

Gemma: I just hope this happens relatively quick. I miss my husband. My kids. I think I bit off more than I can chew. Is there any turning back?

*Dr. Stanton nods no*

Gemma: Didn’t think so. Are you familiar with the tale of the Magi?

Dr. Stanton: Don’t think I am.

Gemma: Where I come from Magi are what you would call holy men. When Malatok the Divine and his infinite wisdom created our planet he created several figureheads to spread his word. In these readings you wanted us to study it talks of ———and ——— both are what we would have considered Magi. They disappeared. With no trace after healing those with Hëadrow. That disease. It hasn’t come up since the first hundred years of the planet. I can only wonder. Is Hëadrow in part to the corruption cycle? Was that something lost to time or is it something else completely?

Dr. Stanton: That’s some pivotal insight. I’ll talk to the team and see what they have to see.

Gemma: Okay. Let me know what you find out.

Dr. Stanton: We will. There’s something I need to do with you. I need to shine a light into your eyes and watch your pupils along with tracking. Can I do that?

Gemma: Of course!

*Dr. Stanton picks up her light and uses it on Gemma.*

Dr. Stanton: Okay. Well it looks like your still behind everyone in the cycle. I don’t understand why but we will keep going with the study. You can go now.

Gemma: Thank you Doctor.

*Gemma leaves*

Dr. Stanton: you can see the corruption develop in her eyes more so than her body. Her irises are getting dark wet and it seems her heterochromia is turning into something else. I don’t know what it is but I am sure we will find out soon.
