This transcript follows closely to the termination of the psychological evaluations of five individuals who worked at South Tech labs. All participants in the wake of Project Sacrosanct are under close evaluation by trained professionals. The purpose of releasing these transcripts is to bring to light of the Corruption Cycle to the public and to help build legislation to protect those who suffer from the Corruption Cycle. At no point will these individuals be released into the public until public awareness has been fulfilled. The transcript follows:

The subjects name is Gemma Andrews. She is female and is in her mid forties. Gemma is a foreigner on a work visa. Her cycle seems to be behind everyone else’s but for now we will assume she is at stage 4. Minimum of 12 hours. Subjects noticeably lose common sense. Everything is a impulse decision and mental state is erratic. Subjects crave to eat things that doesn’t offer sustenance such as metal or wood and most reasoning is replaced with psychopathic tendencies. The body becomes malnourished as the subject no longer eats to survive. The eyes of the subject are completely pupil. It is evident the pupil is still enlarged but doesn’t take up the entire surface of the eye. The whites and any color of the eye turn black much like the pupil but react differently to light. When asked about what they see, the subjects talk in metaphors and is unable to explain their sight coherently. In order to conduct any research with a stage 4 candidate, security personnel must be present.

Dr. Stanton: Hello Gemma. How are you feeling today?

Gemma: I think it’s clear that I am behind everyone. Saralynn hasn’t came back from her session and I saw Tate getting shot. It’s only getting worse.

Dr. Stanton: We tried to prepare for this as much as we could. Unfortunately the cycle seems to effect everyone differently.

*Gemma laughs.*

Dr. Stanton: What’s so funny?

Gemma: These voices. They are telling me this is the beginning of the end. Seriously? I know we ———— and that is pretty serious but is that the end? No. Life always finds a way.

Dr. Stanton: You seem much more optimistic than last time.

Gemma: I’m not. This whole situation is fucked. And I’m fucked and—.

*Gemma screams and it startles the guard behind her.*

Gemma: Shut up, shut up, shut up!

Dr. Stanton: Gemma I—.

Gemma: If I hear another word from you I’m going to blow out my brain.

Dr. Stanton: Are you okay Gemma?

Gemma: Not talking to you but you need to shut up too.

*Dr. Stanton sits there quietly.*

Gemma: Don’t make me come over there you little shit.

*Gemma punches herself on the side.*

Dr. Stanton: Gemma. I’m going to have to ask you from refraining from injuring yourself.

Gemma: This isn’t going to be over till I’m pissing blood.

Dr. Stanton: Why would you want that?

Gemma: Because I hate myself. Can’t stand this fucking face when I look at a mirror. Sad sack of shit.

*Gemma punches herself in the face. She is stunned for a minute then does it again.*

Dr. Stanton: Get some restraints on her please.

*Security begins to hand cuff her hands to her chair. Her head is slumped as if she is knocked out.*

Dr. Stanton: Please tell me she’s breathing.

Security: She is.

*Blood begins to pool at the end of her nose and drips on the floor in between her legs*

Dr. Stanton: Gemma can you hear me.

*Gemma is quiet but doesn’t lift her head.*

Gemma: Yes.

Dr. Stanton: Why are you hurting yourself?

Gemma: Because I’m addicted to pain. All those years self medicating with drugs and alcohol. NSSI. Some sick kick.

Dr. Stanton: Why didn’t you tell us about this before?

Gemma: Didn’t think it was important.

Dr. Stanton: How long have you been doing this?

*Gemma finally lifts her head and smiles. Blood is on her teeth. It isn’t clear if her mouth is bleeding or if blood from her nose got in her mouth. Gemma then laughs.*

Gemma: It’s never stopped. Since I was sixteen. Does this change your opinion of me?

Dr. Stanton: It’s becoming very clear that your manic and unstable.

Gemma: That doesn’t answer my question.

Dr. Stanton: I know

Gemma: So what happens now?

Dr. Stanton: We’re at the tail end of this study. This might be the last conversation we have for a while.

Gemma: That bad huh?

Dr. Stanton: Yes. You jumped past stage 3 and are very close to 5. Everyone reacts differently but once you get to five. Conversations will be difficult.

Gemma: No turning back?

Dr. Stanton: Not until we find a cure.

Gemma: I guess this is goodbye then.

Dr. Stanton: Is there anything else you wish to say?

Gemma: It’s been a wild ride. I’ll be waiting anxiously for the cure. These conversations were nice. I’m sorry for the way I acted. I feel it’s starting to come on again.

Dr. Stanton: It’s best if we move you to isolation.

Gemma: Okay. Thank you.

*Gemma is taken out of the room and you begin to hear her yell again.*

Dr. Stanton: Wild mood swings. Self injury. Depression. These are the things that revolves around Gemma. From now on, she will be something else until we find a cure.
