Stop the Flow

Something I can’t see. 

Can you spare a light?

I’m feeling lustrous. 

I think I lost it all,

but I’m used to this.

Can I swallow them whole?

I’m dangerous. 

What more do you want from me?

It’s pendulous 

I can’t stop the flow. 

I’m not credulous. 

Will you, stop the light?

Say goodnight?

Start another fist fight?

Can you, lose some control?

Suffer for the world?

Stop the flow?

I keep shutting it down,

it doesn’t feel right to them. 

I keep trying to save the world. 

They don’t want a savior. 

But if I can turn the wheel,

show them another world. 

Would they take it?

Or to move the wheel back?

Just stop, get some room,

some breathing room. 

Are you better yet?

Please just stop. 

Take some time.
