The Seasons are Changing

Screen Shot
The tides roll in.
I breathe in deep so I can see again.
The windows break.
I still can’t see why we can’t stay friends.

The cycle just keeps spinning around.
Maybe I’ll succeed the next time around.

You tell me it’s over,
but I can’t help but love her.
The seasons are changing,
but I’m still hungover.
They say it’s so useless,
but I still believe this.
The seasons are changing,
someday I can breathe again.
It’s not over.

While I wait,
you sit and complain,
and call me a rebel.
I believe this day,
will be something I can revel in.

While I sit a wait,
the stun will still rise another day.

You tell me it’s over,
and though it is colder,
I wait for the seasons,
to change into summer.
The pipeline is breaking,
and though we are aching,
time will be over,
we’ll still be lovers.

Forever.
I don’t want this to last,
forever.
