Tate Fitzsimmons: Stage 2

Start from the beginning:

Saralynn Draper: Stage 1

This transcript follows closely to the termination of the psychological evaluations of five individuals who worked at South Tech labs. All participants in the wake of Project Sacrosanct are under close evaluation by trained professionals. The purpose of releasing these transcripts is to bring to light of the Corruption Cycle to the public and to help build legislation to protect those who suffer from the Corruption Cycle. At no point will these individuals be released into the public until public awareness has been fulfilled. The transcript follows:

The subjects name is Tate Fitzsimmons. He is male and is just about over twenty. Tate is our youngest volunteer to participate in this study. His current stage is unknown but it is assumed to be 2 or 3. He has had zero additional contact to the corruption cycle because he will not speak truthfully.

*Dr. Stanton enters room. Tate, is already in the room with two security personnel*

Dr. Stanton: You gave us quite a scare last session. Are you willing to talk about what happened?

Tate: I’ll do what I must do.

Dr. Stanton: And what is that?

Tate: Cooperation.

*Tate is fixated on a corner of the room.*

Dr. Stanton: You want to tell me what you are seeing?

Tate: Hmm?

Dr. Stanton: What’s in the corner Tate?

Tate: Umm. Husk. Chrysalis.

*Dr. Stanton turns around and points.*

Dr. Stanton: In that corner there?

Tate: Yes.

Dr. Stanton: Do you think you’ll see a moth come out?

Tate: This is no ordinary chrysalis.

Dr. Stanton: Explain.

Tate: Something…otherworldly.

Dr. Stanton: Like from space?

Tate: More… parallel. Like a not so distant future.

Dr. Stanton: You think the world is going to be inhabited by otherworldly creatures?

Tate: Yes.

Dr. Stanton: Do you see other things of an impending future?

Tate: Yes.

Dr. Stanton: …and?

Tate: The world. It’s going to be uninhabitable. Most will leave.

Dr. Stanton: Why do you think that somethings going to happen?

Tate: It’ll start here. In this building. Soon.

Dr. Stanton: You think these texts are the cause of it?

Tate: More like a byproduct. You should ask ——— I’m sure she can tell you of her plans.

Dr. Stanton: You think ——— has something to do with this impending future?

Tate: I’m sure of it. And you. I see you there but your reasoning is more of curiosity.

Dr. Stanton: Alright. Have you been sneaking in additional contact with the plate? Your corruption is much more than your coworkers.

Tate: No. Honest. I think I’m understanding the source material more than others.

Dr. Stanton: I see your eyes are dilated. Do you see normally?

Tate: Better than usual. It’s as if some ailments are getting better as others go down.

Dr. Stanton: Have you been translating ahead?

Tate: Well…

Dr. Stanton: So we’re to assume that the Corruption Cycle is also understanding rather than just proximity?

Tate: That could be it.

Dr. Stanton: Tate I’m really finding your story hard to believe.

Tate: What do I need to do to get you to believe me?! Sorry. Sorry sorry. I’ve done nothing else.

Dr. Stanton: We’re going to let you translate again but you will be under strict supervision. Don’t read ahead. Don’t read longer than what’s allotted. We need to keep the cycle in check. We don’t want anything going a direction we can’t turn back from.

Tate: I understand.

Dr. Stanton: Tate. I’m going to show you some ink blots. Tell me what you see okay?

Tate: Okay.

Dr. Stanton: And answer truthfully.

Tate: I will.

Dr. Stanton: Okay. Tell me what you see.

Tate: I see. A castle. It’s under siege.

Dr. Stanton: Okay and here?

Tate: The Otherside. Sometimes it feels like I’ve been there.

Dr. Stanton: You think you’ve been to the Otherside?

Tate: Or will be. Just thinking about it gives a chill down my spine.

Dr. Stanton: What about here?

Tate: Thunderstorm clouds.

Dr. Stanton: Okay. That wasn’t so bad was it?

Tate: No. No I guess not.

Dr. Stanton: Thank you for your cooperation Tate. Follow security to the lab.

*Tate and the two security personnel leave*

Dr. Stanton: Tate is practically in stage 3 but surprisingly he seems to keep his composure. Especially since last time. I do feel he’s being a little untruthful still and we will need to do some more probing in the future so see exactly what is happening. It also appears that his original case file has disappeared. His initial paperwork has gone missing which makes it difficult to see his state of mind before the Corruption Cycle. For now, there’s nothing new to report.
