The sky opened up today. I felt like I could reach into the heavens. The separation of the sky, it gave me a splitting headache. Someone is watching us, though I don’t know who. Someone is waiting, for me and you.
Can you hear us?
Can you feel us yearn?
I hope God is as forgiving,
as we were led to believe.
We hear your call,
as we watch and mourn.
May God have patience,
for our dirty hearts.
I heard the first trumpet. It echoed through the mountains and ravines. Angels poured out of the heavens to enact Gods wrath. There were those who repented, but the sorrow was too late, but it wasn’t the wicked who were taken away.
Can you feel us?
Can you hear us weep?
I hope God is as forgiving,
as we were led to believe.
We heard your call,
we saw the righteous leave.
May God have mercy,
for our dirty hearts.
It’s been ninety days since the sky opened. Chaos had ensued. The wicked were left in the wake of the dying sun. I was among them. Watching the planet fall to pieces. But God is still watching, and even waiting.
Can you save us?
Can you watch and learn?
I hope God is as forgiving,
as we led to believe.
We are waiting here
Wishing we are past the worse
May God have justice,
for our dirty hearts.
