Saralynn Draper: Stage 1
This transcript follows closely to the termination of the psychological evaluations of five individuals who worked at South Tech labs. All participants in the wake of Project Sacrosanct are under close evaluation by trained professionals. The purpose of releasing these transcripts is to bring to light of the Corruption Cycle to the public and to help build legislation to protect those who suffer from the Corruption Cycle. At no point will these individuals be released into the public until public awareness has been fulfilled. The transcript follows:
The subjects name is Tate Fitzsimmons. He is male and is just about over twenty. Tate is our youngest volunteer to participate in this study. Though his exact stage is unknown it is assumed to be at stage 3. It is now assumed that Tate suffers from a mental condition prior to this study. We do not know what it was. When exposure is at a minimum of 8 hours, subjects show signs of cacoethes for things they did not crave and uncontrollable mania. Subjects state that they hear voices and others seem to have multiple personalities. Subjects may be mentally fragile and anger easily. The pupils of the subjects become enlarged and remain that way no matter of the sensory input or thoughts of the subject. They no longer react to light. Suits are no longer required for containment.
*there is one security guard in the room alongside Tate. Tate is strapped to his chair.*
Dr. Stanton: Hello Tate.
Tate: Doctor.
Dr. Stanton: As I am sure you’re aware of we are no longer testing cognitive abilities but physical symptoms. I’m going to need to take some blood. We’re going to have to keep you strapped in until I’m done taking blood.
Tate: Is this really necessary? We all know I am corrupted.
Dr. Stanton: Tate, this is procedure. Procedure will not change because you want it to.
Tate: I really don’t like needles.
*Dr. Stanton comes near Tate with a blood drawing kit.*
Tate: Doctor? Doctor?! DOCTOR?!
*Tate is flailing preventing the blood draw.*
Dr. Stanton: Security!
*More security enters room.
Dr. Stanton: I need the three of you to hold Tate down. I need to get some blood.
*Security hold down Tate.*
Tate: Doctor Stanton. Please. Reason. We need reason.
Dr. Stanton: Tate. Nothing is stopping this blood draw.
*Blood draw starts*
Tate: Oh you fucked up. When I get out of this you all are going to regret it! You hear me?!
Dr. Stanton: Keep him down. And. Ok. Now let’s get him a sedative.
*Sedative by injection is administered.*
Dr. Stanton: Feeling any better?
Tate: Don’t think I’ll forget about this. I…I…see things I really shouldn’t be able to see.
Dr. Stanton: You all can let go now. I just need one in here.
*Some security leaves*
Dr. Stanton: What do you see Tate?
Tate: The world. The things we discover. It’s going to destroy the planet. I can feel the planets pulse flow through my veins. It’s as if it’s warning me.
Dr. Stanton: Did you have these feeling before the study?
Tate: No. I’ve never felt like this before. The impending dread. Existential damnation. This is all new.
Dr. Stanton: Do you think you can stop it?
Tate: I’m just one man. Besides. There’s no stopping this. The events that unfold the next few days will destroy our planet in the coming future. I can barely manage my symptoms let alone stop a threat to our planet.
Dr. Stanton: I need to look at your eyes Tate, can I do that?
Tate: Sure.
*Dr. Stanton grabs some tools and starts looking at Tates eyes.*
Dr. Stanton: You seemed to have mellowed out. Do you need a seductive regularly?
Tate: I might. I feel a little better.
Dr. Stanton: And what of your voices? Do you hear voices?
Tate: No. just hallucinations.
Dr. Stanton: Is there something you suspect to be a hallucination in this room now?
*Tate looks around*
Tate: No. no I don’t think so.
*Dr. Stanton stops her examination*
Dr. Stanton: Your eyes look much like the others but this sedative is great news if it works on others
Tate: I’m glad that we found something. Is it possible for me to go back to reading? I’m eager to get to the end of this.
Dr. Stanton: Yes of course. Go your own way.
*Tate is I’m strapped and escorted out of the room.*
Dr. Stanton: Tate is showing obvious signs of improvement through administering a sedative. It will be difficult to get the next blood draw however. We do not want any outside chemicals in the blood when we take a sample. Until then. We can only assume the sedative is working.
